When designing any project, I use the above quote as a placeholder text every time, but it hasn't lost its meaning. Matter of fact, I find it so profound and universal that it’s almost become the mantra that I live by. That’s because, personally, it’s never just the text, graphics or interactivity alone that makes a website or project memorable. For any project to truly stand out or make a great impression, these elements must work together harmoniously. It’s very much like the balance between work and play. "All work and no play makes Petey a dull boy!". Too much of one and life suddenly becomes very uninspiring. That euphoric state of zen we all strive for is somewhere in the middle.

As a result, my approach to any design project utilizes a balanced creative process. By combining a simplified logical approach with innovative ideas for your business needs, an effective web presence or corporate identity conveying beautiful form and effective communication is established. The result? Your business goals and marketing needs are achieved through a memorable first impression which inspires repeat business and customer loyalty. I started my professional career as a personal trainer, so I know what it takes to hone in on your needs and tailor a unique business plan just for you. I was introduced to the wonderful world of design back in 2002...a couple of years after graduating college in North Carolina. My only regret is that I didn't realize my passion and interest for design and web development when I was attending college. I graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine back in 2000 and you can say I have the ability to (Swarchenegger accent) PUMP YOUR BUSINESS UP!!!

I officially entered the world of freelance web/graphic design, when I created PHDesignWeb, back in 2007 and I've been commissioned to help several business and organizations in various industries. I continue to work full time in the corporate world and my experience ranges from large global companies like Automatic Data Processing (ADP) to extremely small yet successful "mom & pop" companies such as O.L. Products to well-established mid-sized international companies such as TUI Marine. I also worked for digital marketing agencies such as Connect-Auto, which specializes in the automotive industry, as a Sr. Web Designer with many other design responsibilities...see more about my experiences.
